Yang Deuk Kim knew his dream was to be in fashion ever since he graduated high school in Busan, Korea. After obtaining a job at the biggest tailor shop in Busan, he opened his own in 1983. But after selling the shop to his nephew, Mr. Kim immigrated to China for 5 years, and then finally to America in 1999. Landing a job at Momo Tailor, he eventually purchased the shop in 2001 from his former employer and runs it to this day.

Mr. Kim looks back on his life with gratitude and attributes his fortune to his faith and to God. “Most people need to change their job when they immigrate to a new country, but I didn’t have to. I was able to move here and continue living my life following my passion. That is my joy.”
